When you go to e-Filings > Manage e-Files, all applicable clients (not just active clients) with at least one e-File created in Drake Accounting for the current year will display. On this screen, you can copy files to your local drive, delete old files, and view saved files. This screen displays relevant information about the file, such as its current status and the form used to create the file. See below for details.
Go to e-Filings > Manage e-Files.
Your applicable clients will be displayed. Click the plus sign (+) to expand client e-Files. See the example below. When you click on the file, you can open it by clicking View on the right. This action will open the actual file that was created and show the contents.
To Open Location of File
If you wish to locate the e-File created (see example below), click on it and click Open Location on the right.
A window displays the file and its data path so you can easily drag it to your Desktop (or another convenient location) when ready to upload the file to the respective agency.
To Copy a Folder or File
To move all of the files under a selected node (e.g., 94x displayed below) to a specified folder, click Copy Folder. Select a location to save the files.
To copy an individual file, select the specific file (see below) and click Copy File. Pick a location, name the file, and save.
To Delete a Folder or File
This option is similar to copying a file or folder, as mentioned above. However, this will delete the original copy of the file or folder NOT the one that would be saved from using the Copy File/Folder option. Use with caution!
Used as a "catch-all", this section collects files that do not fit into a standard category, but it allows you to be able to interact with it.
